Tell us about your Christian beginnings:

I had a privileged upbringing, going away to boarding school at quite a young age. Several members of staff including the Chaplain had a significant spiritual influence upon me, culminating in a first year 6th form weekend trip to experience a very active parish, at St. Peter's Haroldwood, and I knew there was life there that I did not have but needed badly. Taking a leadership role in both the school CU and university CU followed, and I have been involved in the leadership of camps and house parties, under the auspices of what is now the Titus Trust for over 30 years.

What about your commercial experience?

I am a qualified Company Secretary, and have an MBA from London Business School. I have spent most of my working life working either for small businesses, or charities concerned to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ, most recently as the Chief Administrator of the Christian Medical Fellowship. So a broad range of charity management experience, which I trust will be useful for the challenge of moving Crosslinks forward!

Tell us about life outside work...

I am married to Caroline, and we celebrate 25 years of marriage this year! We have lived in Wimbledon for 12 years and been committed to Emmanuel, Wimbledon for almost exactly 20 years. We are fully involved in the life of the fellowship, and I am currently one of the two wardens. Our love is lavished upon, among many other things, golden retrievers, and we expect to take on a new puppy in July! We often travel to Connemara, on the West Coast of Ireland for holidays - wide open spaces, and unspoilt landscapes - to be recommended!
