The Board of Trustees

The majority of Crosslinks' Board of Trustees of Crosslinks are elected by the members of Crosslinks. Under its Chairman, the Board of Trustees appoints the Mission Director and Operations Director of the Society and delegates to them the day-to-day running of Crosslinks affairs. The Board of Trustees meets at least four times a year to conduct its business and reports to the members at the Annual Meeting of Members once a year.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees is John Hamilton. John is a Church of England minister and rector of the parish of The Sherbornes with Pamber in the Winchester Diocese. He is married to Trish and they have a son, a daughter and two grandchildren.

John became a Christian in 1965 through the faithful witness of a school friend. He has been in his current parish since 1988, during which time the church has been linked to several Mission Partners. John writes, ‘They have enriched our fellowship and been as much a blessing to us as we to them.’

‘My main leisure activities include walking the dog and gardening. My gardening abilities are poor but I enjoy seeing things grow!

‘Before becoming Chaiman I was on Crosslinks Council as an observer for two years. I count it a great privilege to be the chairman now and look forward to working with staff and council in developing the work of Crosslinks in the years ahead.’
